TOTOYA HOKKEI. (1780-1850)

Two itinerant performers are standing at the entrance of a tea-house in
the licensed quarter where a young girl welcomes them.
One musician plays the samisen while the other man has a Daikoku
mask raised over his head, his dress is decorated with the Daikoku’s
mallet and his fan with the reverse swastika of the Manji-ren.
