Brush washer

A fine bamboo brush washer in the shape of a gourd. From the branch leaves a large leaf on which rests the fruit, other small leaves, vines and a small pumpkin.
The inside is carved and partially divided into two using the partition wall of the bamboo section.
The object, although in excellent condition, must have been used intensely as evidenced by the patina and the ink stains left.
