A cream glazed chawan decorated with a poem and two cormorans in flight,
by the painter active in Nagoya, Oda Tansai (Kanekichi) (1880-1966). 

Original inscribed wood storage box (tomobako).

Signed Oda Tansai with written seal (kao).

Early to mid 20th century
