Set of five small plates

A set of five finely lacquered wood plates. Each plate is decorated with feathers made with the togidashi technique on a roironuri (black lacquer) background. The rim of each plate is made of metal.
The togidashi technique consists of drawing the decorative pattern with colored and gold lacquer, when it is dry it is covered with black lacquer which is then sanded to reveal the underlying design.
