The prints, books and art objects currently illustrated will remain online only as a reference. For the future we plan to restyle the website with articles and news on Japanese art and to publish a series of reference catalogues on Japanese prints, in particular in the field of surimono. Our office in Venice

We have been dealing in Japanese antiques from 1980 to 2024, focusing on original Japanese woodblock prints, illustrated books, paintings, and Japanese works of art from the 18th to the first half of 20th century with a special interest for surimono (privately published prints) and illustrated books (ehon).

Our stock included books illustrated by ukiyo-e and shijo school artists, collections of antique textile samples and fragments, pattern books for the kimono trade and decorative arts (zuan-chō), 20th century artist books and publications related the mingei movement.

Among the Japanese works of art we offered netsuke, inro and sagemono, lacquerware and other art objects. 

We have been member of the Ukiyo-e Dealers Association of Japan and the Italian Antiquarian Booksellers Association.

Among our clients there were museums and private collectors.
