Two series of 47 ronin, the Seichu gishi den by Kuniyoshi in oban format and the chuban size set by Yoshitoshi, Seichu gishi meimei gaden. The two versions of the same ronin are illustrated on the same page and allow a comparison between the two designs that are occasionally similar in composition. 21x15 cm. 56 pages, 101 colour illustrations.
